The 2024 Summer Olympics Men's Football Tournament
The Football at the 2024 Summer Olympics – Men's tournament will be held from 26 July to 11 August 2024. The men's football tournament has been held at every Summer Olympic Games since the inception of the modern games in 1896, except for the 1896 and 1932 tournaments.
The tournament is open to men's national under-23 teams, with a maximum of three overage players allowed per squad. The draw for the tournament will be held in 2024, and the teams will be divided into four groups of four. The top two teams from each group will advance to the quarter-finals, where they will be joined by the four best third-placed teams. The quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final will be held at the Parc des Princes in Paris.
The defending champions are Brazil, who defeated Spain in the final of the 2020 Summer Olympics. Other notable teams to have won the men's football tournament include Argentina, Great Britain, Uruguay, and Hungary. The United States has won three bronze medals in the men's football tournament, most recently in 2008.
