Bachchan made his acting debut in the 1969 film "Saat Hindustani" but gained widespread recognition for his role in the 1973 film "Zanjeer."

Bachchan's portrayal of the "angry young man" in "Zanjeer" resonated with audiences and established him as a leading star in Bollywood.

He went on to star in a string of successful films throughout the 1970s and 1980s, including "Sholay" (1975), "Deewar" (1975), "Don" (1978), and "Coolie" (1983).

International Recognition
